It's the Quiltmas Spectacular! I've teamed up with 11 other amazing quilt pattern designers to bring you 12 free blocks for 12 days of Quiltmas! It's our way of saying thank you for a wonderful year and for all of your support. And in fact, it's the 10th day of the spectacular and it's my turn to bring you my free holiday inspired block. May I present, Snowy Night!
Snowy Night is a 6"x6" quilt block inspired by the sparkling stars in the winter sky and the silhouettes of the trees below. A perfect snowy, yet clear, winter night.
Snowy Night is a paper-pieced block for a confident paper piecer as it does not contain intro to paper piecing instructions (although does have helpful tips!). For more information and basic paper piecing instructions, check out my Flight Effect Quilt pattern or there are many resources available online, including this great tutorial from fellow Quiltmas Elf Shannon Fraser.
